시놉시스 Synopsis
미디어센터 주민영상제작 수업을 맡은 ‘진아’는 학창시절 담임 교사였던 ‘서인’과 8년만에 재회하고, 선생님에게 못다한 고백을 하려한다.
Jin-Ah teaches a community film production class at Media Center. She meets her high school teacher ‘Seo-In’ for the first time in eight years, and Jin-Ah wants to get something off her chest.

“엄마, 나 여자 좋아해.” 인터시티 이경호, 허지은 감독의 "고마운 사람"은 엄마를 향한 딸의 느닷없는 커밍아웃으로 시작한다. 페미니즘 리부트 이후 여성, 퀴어 서사 제작의 꾸준한 흐름 속에서 만들어진 또 한 편의 여성-퀴어 작품인 "고마운 사람"이 집중하는 것은 여성 간 로맨스의 서사적 가시화보다 이를 이야기하는 것 자체의 현실적 어려움이다. 진아가 영화 제작 교실 수강생들에게 하는 말처럼 그간 할 수 없었지만 하고 싶었던 이야기를 쏟아내듯 영화의 메시지는 에두르지 않고 직설적이다. 영화는 엔딩 크레딧에 흔히 쓰이는 “고마운 사람“이란 표현을 통해 주변에서 가시화되지 못한 채 감사와 혐오를 동시에 받는 존재를 보여주면서 그러나 이들을 향한 무언의 연대와 감사 또한 존재함을 보여준다.
Produced by Ji-Eun Heo and Kyungho Lee, “On White Wind Wall” begins with a daughter coming out to her mother saying “Mom, I am into girls.” After Feminism Reboot, movies about female and queer have been produced, and “On White Wind Wall” is one of them. Rather than focusing on the visualization of the romance narrative, this movie focuses on the reality where it is quite difficult to even talk about the romance of female. The movie delivers its message in a quite straightforward manner like Jin-Ah talking to her film production class students. In ending credits, the “Thanks to” part is dedicated to the people whose story is not told and who receive appreciation and hatred at the same time. It shows wordless support and gratitude to those people.

유네스코 창의도시 대구의 음악 이야기를 담은 김지곤 감독의 [음악을 한다]는 크게 세 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 먼저 영화는 임우상 작곡의 "산과 강"이 흐르는 배경으로 도시 전체가 내려다 보인다는 앞산 전경으로 시작한다. 마치 앞산의 시점인 듯 두루 제시되는 도심 풍경 위로 자막을 통해 대구 음악의 역사와 현재가 간략히 스케치된다. 이어 원로음악인 우종억의 구술을 바탕으로 대구 음악 역사의 한 부분을 기록하는 현장이 보인다. 기록자의 목소리를 경유해 이야기가 전달되면서 기록의 의의도 함께 말해진다. 끝으로 김광석 거리가 있는 대구에서 포크음악으로 현재 활동 중인 호우앤프렌즈의 이야기는 그들의 목소리로 전달하고 있다. 영화는 이처럼 세심한 형식적 고려를 통해 짧은 시간 안에 대구 음악의 지층을 섬세하게 담아낸다.
“Play My Music City” produced by Director Jigon Kim is about music in Daegu, UNESCO Creative City of Music. This film consists of three parts. The first part begins with a view from Mt. Ap that overlooks the whole city. “Mountain and River” composed by U-Sang Lim is played in the background. Cityscapes are presented as if Mt. Ap is the point of view, and history and the presence of music in Daegu are briefly sketched through the subtitles. Followed by the scene where they record one part of Daegu’s music history based on the sayings of Jong-Eok Woo, the doyen of musicians. In the film, the recording process is told by the recorder, and it enables her to tell her significance about recording as well. The last part is where “Howoo and Friends” delivers their story in their voice. This folk-rock band is currently active in Daegu, where Kim Kwang-Seok Street is located. Overall, the film delicately captures the phases of music in Daegu through thoughtful formal considerations.
